The Golden-crowned Kinglet is a tiny bird recognized by its yellow crown and searches for small prey in conifers.
A bright yellow crown stripe is bordered by black; males may show orange in its center.
It moves quickly among conifer branches, searching for and eating small insects and spiders.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
