Brenda's Colilargo is a rodent recorded mainly in the Yungas of northwestern Argentina. An Argentine identification key describes an orange-brown back that is grayer toward the head and yellow-washed flanks.
The back is orange-brown, becoming grayer toward the head, and the flanks are yellow-washed. The underside ranges from grayish white to grayish yellow or orange; the dark ears have short brown hairs.
In Argentina it is recorded mainly in forested Yungas areas, with fewer records in the Dry Chaco and at the ecotone with the Monte region.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
