A small wild buffalo of the forests and wetlands on Sulawesi and Buton, Indonesia.
It may look like a goat, but it is a small wild buffalo. Its short horns point backward, helping them avoid catching on dense undergrowth.
It usually lives alone and feeds on grasses, ferns, leaves and fallen fruit in the early morning or evening. It may cool off in water or mud during hot weather.
