The Rock Wren is a wren of dry rocky places in western North America. It probes rock crevices and searches for insects on the ground and among rocks.
Its gray-brown body has fine white spots and a pale eyebrow. The bill is slender and slightly downcurved.
It walks over rocks and the ground, probing crevices for insects and spiders. It also uses rock cavities for nesting.
Small stones are often laid out in front of the nest entrance.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
