The Muscat Mouse-tailed Bat is a small bat whose tail is longer than its forearm. It feeds over dry, open ground and rests in rocky crevices and caves.
Head-and-body length is about 53–64 mm and tail length about 56–75 mm, so the tail is longer than the forearm. Its fur is pale gray without a brown tint and lighter underneath.
It forages in arid areas and rests in rock crevices, cliff fissures, and dark parts of caves. Foods include small beetles; winged ants are especially important in some autumn samples.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
