This is a small opossum. Ventral fur is unbanded white in most examined specimens, and little is known about its field ecology.
The ventral fur is self-white in most examined specimens, without bands; the paper also notes an exception among the material it examined.
Field information is sparse. The authors suggest that members of this genus may be associated with wet or seasonally flooded grasslands.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
