A small tube-nosed bat collected in Taiwan. Its original description reports forest-associated records, mostly below 1,400 m elevation.
The back is medium to yellowish brown with bright yellow hairs. Its dorsal underfur is banded, and the nostrils are short and tubular.
The authors suggest that the species appears forest-dependent and occurs mainly below 1,400 m. A few specimens were collected as high as 2,200 m.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
