The Golden-crowned Warbler is a small bird with a yellow crown stripe and yellow underparts. It searches among leaves in the lower forest and eats insects and fruit.
A yellow to orange stripe runs down the center of the crown, bordered by broad black stripes. The back is grayish olive and the underparts are yellow.
It actively searches among foliage and sometimes makes quick sallies after flushed insects. It also eats fruit and occurs in pairs or small groups of about three to five.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
