This spider is known from two Ethiopian localities; the described male and females differ in their leg markings.
The described male has uniformly ochre-yellow legs, whereas both described females have distinct dark rings near the ends of their thigh and shin segments.
In an October 1982 record at Lake Langano, one male and one female were collected beneath stones in short grass near a hotel.
The described male has an ochre-grey abdomen with dark patterns above and below. In the other male the ventral pattern was indistinct and irregular; the account questions whether this could be an artifact.
The described male has narrow marks along the middle and sides of the upper front body, with a pair of dark marks below the eyes.
Its sternum underneath is light brown with darker margins and a darker front half.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
