This large white-toothed shrew has records from Tanzania’s Uluguru Mountains. A species table describes a long body with a shorter tail.
A 2014 reference table lists mean head-and-body length as 105 mm and tail length as 65–85% of that, so the tail is shorter than the body.
The Uluguru species table places its records only in closed mature forest in the submontane band at 800–1,400 m.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
