The dorsal flap on the male procursus is larger than in congeners and widens distally. The male palpal femur has a length-to-width ratio of 2.50–2.55; most other species are 1.85–2.25, while G. dobby is 2.50.
Near Nono, spiders were collected by turning the uppermost stones of a stone wall in a low forest. They ran rapidly but did not drop from the rocks. Two egg sacs contained 6 and 7 eggs, respectively. They were carried under the prosoma; egg diameter was 0.44 mm.
