Saudareos meyeri is a small parrot of Sulawesi's mountains. Its English name refers to the yellow on the head. The World Parrot Trust account uses the older combination Trichoglossus meyeri.
Adults are green above, with yellow cheeks and throat marked by dusty green bars. Juveniles are described as similar.
It travels in small flocks and feeds at blossoms. Nest cavities have been reported high in mossy trees.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
