This millipede is recorded from New Dabaga/Ulangambi Forest Reserve in the Udzungwa Mountains, Tanzania.
In the alcohol-preserved adult males examined in the 2014 report, each anal valve has a long, slightly curved dorsal spine and no ventral spine.
The male collection records treated in the report include montane forest and scrub, thicket or bush at New Dabaga/Ulangambi.
On the dorsal side of the midbody rings in these males, the limbus has long triangular lobes with rounded tips, about 1.5 times as long as wide.
In these males, the gonopod coxa has a massive, two-levelled metaplical shelf, with a concavity between the levels into which the shelf-spine tip fits.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
