The Aldabra flying fox is a large fruit bat found only on Aldabra Atoll in Seychelles. It eats fruit and flowers and helps move seeds among the island's plants.
A specimen description records yellowish-white fur on the crown, orange-buff fur over the shoulders and neck, and a gray-brown back.
It eats fruits such as figs, flowers, and coconuts. It is one of the animals able to disperse some of Aldabra's very large fruits and their seeds.
