A nocturnal flying squirrel that glides between trees in mountain forests of northeastern India.
Its feet are covered in long fur, and long chestnut hairs extend behind the ears. A membrane between the limbs helps it glide.
It is nocturnal, moving through trees to feed on fruit and leaves among other foods.
