Fischer's Little Fruit Bat is a small fruit-eating bat of the Amazon region. A study in Peru found seeds from several kinds of fruit in its feces.
Its fur ranges from brown to reddish brown, and a fringe of hair lines the free edge of the tail membrane. The reported forearm length is no more than 34 mm.
A fecal study in Peru found seeds representing six fruit types. In another survey, bats were captured in ground-level nets in primary forest, secondary forest, and other habitats.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
