The shell is pale brown and conical. It has 5–5.5 rounded whorls that increase regularly. The later-formed shell has finely dimpled sculpture crossed by coarse radial growth lines. Collected shells came from black soil and clay beneath rocks in old secondary forest at the base of a cliff. The paper records it only from its type locality in Xieng Khouang Province, Laos.
