Known from East Kalimantan on Borneo, males of this spider have large protrusions near the bases of the chelicerae.
The described male is rather pale: its upper front-body plate is pale ochre-orange, and its legs are pale ochre-yellow without rings.
On 21 July 1982 at Sepaku, one male and one female were collected from webs in a hollow tree in primary forest.
Its abdomen is ochre-gray, with a poorly visible brown pattern above and a broad brown band below.
Some males have a brown triangular mark at the rear of the upper front-body plate and two brown bands below the eyes. Females have markings like those of these darker males.
In females, the small front central eyes are reduced to pigment spots without lenses.
Males have large protrusions on the front of the chelicerae near their bases.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
