The Yungas Dove is a dove of the Andean regions of Bolivia and northwestern Argentina. It is usually seen alone or in small, loose groups.
Its upperparts are darker brown, with a purple gloss on the hindneck and white feathers around the eye. Compared with the White-tipped Dove, its tail is less graduated and has a narrower white tip.
It is usually seen alone or in small loose groups. A Bolivia species account reports ground foraging and resting in the understory; it also occurs in drier areas and cultivated land.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
