• Anansus atewa

  The male ocular area is barely raised. The male carapace lacks a median furrow. The male sternum is wider than long. Spiders were found in leaf litter beneath curved leaves that created sheltered spaces on their undersides. It is known from the type locality in Atewa Atwirebu Reserve, Atewa Hills, Ghana.

  The male ocular area is not raised. The male carapace lacks a median furrow. The male sternum is wider than long. On 16 April 2009, specimens were collected under trash and logs at a roadside near Bamenda, Cameroon. It is known from the type locality near Bamenda, Cameroon.
