Platyrhaphe

  • Platyrhaphe conula

The spire is conical, with flat to slightly concave sides. Very fine, low, threadlike radial riblets are densely and evenly spaced. The aperture is circular and slightly detached from the spire in fully adult shells; its rim is slightly thickened but not widened. Shells are recorded from rock crevices in partly deciduous shrubby vegetation, including disturbed sites, and low partly deciduous woodland on limestone bedrock, including coastal sites. Shells are recorded from several limestone hills and islands of Kien Luong District, Kien Giang Province, Vietnam.
