The FCI standard describes a stocky, vigorous dog with relatively short legs and a low-set outline. Standard height is 52–58 cm, while the build should not become Cocker-like.
[1]A curly topknot
A strongly curled topknot joins the ears’ long, silky curls to frame the head like a wig. The coat is curly and slightly rough; the standard favors brown or brown-and-grey mottling.
