Patched & Ticked

The AKC German Shorthaired Pointer standard lists “liver patched and white ticked” and “black patched and white ticked” as coat options, separately from roan. The glossary describes ticking as small, isolated areas of colored hairs on a white background. These are specific examples and are not applied uniformly to the other linked breeds.
