White Markings, Ticked

Ticked white markings have small coloured flecks within white areas. The AKC Border Collie standard allows white markings to be clear white or ticked to any degree. Random white body patches are permissible but should not predominate, and the predominant ear colour should match the primary body colour. Flecking and the extent of white can be compared separately.
