Born Gray

The Hungarian Pumi Club calls a puppy born gray instead of black “Born Gray” and says it should be registered under that color. The club also describes it as a dilute and a color not accepted by the standard. The same club guidance describes the usual gray Pumi as black at birth, turning gray as it grows.
