In the WCF CAM (Cashmere) and BEN (Bengal) standards, charcoal has a dark grey-brown ground with very dark spotting or marbling, a broad dorsal stripe and a dark facial mask. Both standards list charcoal patterns with code nt. The WCF EMS code table restricts nt to BEN, a different scope from the breed-standard wording.
