A colony of black-bearded flying foxes was recorded roosting in mangroves on Pulau Marsegu, off Seram Island, Indonesia.
Adults recorded in the Seram study had a dark back, a chestnut head and collar, and a pale golden-buff underside.
On Pulau Marsegu, a colony of about 200 used mangrove trees as a roost, moved among trees during the day, and left at dusk.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
