Sharman’s Rock-wallaby is a medium-sized wallaby from a restricted area of northern Queensland. It shelters among rocks and emerges around dusk to feed.
Its back ranges from gray-brown to sandy brown, with paler underparts. The long tail ends in a tuft; a pale cheek stripe and a dark stripe along the middle of the head are also described.
By day it shelters in rocky refuges or dense vegetation, then emerges around dusk to feed in nearby scrub and woodland. It is typically social and lives in colonies.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
