Brumback’s night monkey is a nocturnal primate described as endemic to Colombia’s Llanos. It sleeps in cavities in both living and dead trees.
A 2007 taxonomic review describes an older proposal of a hair whorl between the shoulders and a long, thin throat gland. Another classification rejected those features as a reliable way to distinguish the species.
It is active at night and sleeps in holes in living or dead trees. A 2024 study found roosts in forest fragments, along their edges, and in living fences.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
