The lemurine night monkey is a nocturnal primate found in Colombia and Ecuador. It has large eyes and lives in small family groups in the forest canopy.
Its coat is grey-brown, with a pale yellow to orange underside. Dark stripes frame the large eyes and extend across the forehead.
It travels through the canopy at night and eats fruit, leaves, nectar, and insects. The ADW account describes small groups made up of a pair and their young.
Two groups living in peri-urban forest fragments in Manizales, Colombia, had at least 26 plant species in their diet.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
