The Masafuera Rayadito is a small bird found only on Alejandro Selkirk Island, Chile. The pool spelling masafucrae is listed as a synonym in the Chilean assessment; this entry uses its accepted name, Aphrastura masafuerae.
Its body is yellowish brown and its head is brownish grey. The island assessment describes a narrow yellow-white line above the eye and says it is faint.
A breeding study recorded nests in small natural holes in steep rocks, within fern stands in the island's summit region. The nest itself is hidden inside the rock.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
