The Sulawesi Nightjar has fine grey-brown, dark brown and buff markings. It lives in lowland forests and mangroves around Sulawesi, Indonesia, and is thought to catch flying insects.
The sexes look similar. Grey-brown plumage is marked with dark and buff streaks and spots, with a white patch on the throat.
It probably feeds on flying insects, pursuing prey in agile, buoyant flight.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
