A highland grassland bird of eastern Brazil that searches among rocks and shrubs for food.
It has a long, narrow tail, a grey head with a white eyebrow, and a pale throat.
It searches rocky ground and low vegetation for invertebrates and seeds, and is sometimes seen in pairs.
It was observed calling throughout the day, including the hottest hours.
The lower eyelid is white.
