A small lemur recorded in eastern lowland rainforest in northeastern Madagascar. Its life in the wild is still not well documented.
The original description notes a rusty to orange back and a white patch along the nose. The underside is described as grayish white.
The 2020 assessment reports that detailed studies of its behavior and ecology in the wild are lacking.
