This nocturnal lemur has large eyes and a long rusty tail. It moves through trees to forage in western Madagascar’s dry forests.
Its gray-brown coat can have orange tones, and its belly is paler than its back. The long tail is rusty brown and darkens toward the tip.
It is active at night and rests by day in nests made from branches and leaves. At night it forages through the canopy for fruit, insects, and other foods.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
