The Yemen Thrush is marked by an olive-toned back, a stout orange-yellow bill, and a bright orange patch under the wing in flight. It also lives in the highlands of Saudi Arabia.
The upperparts are olive-tinged gray, with dark streaks on the throat and darker spots across the breast. It has a stout orange-yellow bill, and the bright orange underwing is visible in flight.
It is secretive, may remain still for a long time, and usually searches for food on the ground. Its diet is poorly known; invertebrates during the breeding season and fruit from late summer through late winter are proposed foods.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
