The Foxy Cisticola is a small cisticola distributed across sub-Saharan Africa. It searches for invertebrates near the ground in savanna, scrub, and streamside vegetation.
It is about 10 cm long and weighs about 10 g in the Oiseaux account. It has rufous upperparts, buff underparts, a pale eye-ring, and a faint supercilium.
It occurs in dry savanna and tropical forest, as well as moist scrub and around rivers and streams. It takes invertebrates from the ground and vegetation; a short account says it nests in cavities.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
