The Jeju striped field mouse is a murid rodent recorded on Jeju Island, South Korea. Its original description noted a distinct dark stripe on an ochre-colored back; a Jeju mammal review reports it in grassland, hills and shrub forest up to the summit of Mt Halla.
The original description characterized the holotype, an adult male in summer pelage, as dark ochraceous above with a distinct black dorsal stripe and gray underparts tinged buff. NMNH catalog record USNM 299204 gives a total length of 221 mm and a tail length of 104 mm for this specimen. Eight other adults near the type locality (seven males, one female) averaged 223.1 mm in total length (range 216–232 mm) and 102.6 mm in tail length (96–107 mm).
It inhabits grassland and shrub forest on Jeju Island, with records extending to the summit of Mt Halla. A 2022–2023 survey at five island sites captured 50 small mammals, of which 47 were identified as this species.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
