The clamorous reed warbler lives in reedbeds and waterside scrub, calling loudly as it searches for insects and other small prey.
It resembles the great reed warbler, but has a flatter crown, a weaker eyebrow stripe and a longer, rounder tail.
It eats insects, beetles, spiders and slugs, as well as seeds and small amphibians.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
