The Cyrenaica white-toothed shrew is a small shrew known only from northern Libya's Cyrenaica region. It has short, soft fur and a relatively long tail; its diet and nocturnal activity are described as probable.
Head-and-body length is 56–65 mm and tail length is 39–46 mm. Its fur is short and soft; the back is gray-brown with a slight russet tinge, and the underside is gray to gray-brown.
It is reported from Mediterranean wadis, scrub, coastal areas, and rocky sites; it may also tolerate degraded habitat. It probably eats invertebrates and is probably nocturnal.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
