A lark of arid land along the southern Sahara margin; it may move after rain.
Its sandy-brown back is finely streaked, while the pale underside has dark streaks across the breast.
It searches on the ground for seeds and insects and may wander after rain as food and vegetation change.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
