This foliage-gleaner lives in moist mountain forest and tall secondary growth on the eastern Andes of Bolivia. Its buff eyebrow and streaked underside help identify it.
The upperparts are olive-brown, with an ochre eyebrow and streaks. The throat is white; olive or buff streaks run down the underside. The pointed tail is chestnut.
It forages alone or in pairs in dense thickets from the understory to the mid-levels, and sometimes joins mixed-species flocks.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
