The Blunt-winged Warbler is a small reed warbler of wetlands and mountain grasslands. Some populations migrate seasonally.
The upperparts are dark olive-brown with a rufous rump. The underside is whitish, the flanks buff, and a pale supercilium runs above the eye.
It searches wetland vegetation and river-edge cover for small invertebrates. Breeding and wintering areas are separated, though migration varies among populations.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
