A fruit-eating pigeon of Indonesia's Nusa Tenggara Islands. Males show a grayish face and pale yellow wing fringes, and flocks gather at fruiting trees.
Males have a pale gray face and crown, a whitish forehead, and a soft green body. The dark gray wings have conspicuous pale yellow fringes. Females have a plainer green mantle.
Flocks gather at fruiting trees, including figs, to feed. The species may move within or between its island range as fruiting cycles change.
