Kellen's African dormouse is a small dormouse recorded patchily across sub-Saharan Africa. The name in current accounts may cover more than one species.
The back ranges from pale brown or beige to gray, while the underside is white to cream. Some individuals have a dark ring of fur around the eyes.
It is thought to be nocturnal and mostly arboreal, though it also uses the ground. It nests in tree cavities or gaps under loose bark, and is probably omnivorous.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
