This small antwren occurs in Panama's humid forests. Males are gray and females olive-brown, and the birds search low growth for small prey.
Males are slate-gray with black on the throat and chest and white tips on the wings and tail. Females are olive-brown above with pale buff underparts.
Pairs and mixed-species flocks move through the lower growth of humid forest and second growth, searching for insects and spiders.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
