The Uniform Treehunter is a brown ovenbird of forest on the western Andean slope. It searches among branches and vines for arthropods, earthworms and larvae.
It is about 19–20 cm long and mostly dark brown, with paler lores, a narrow pale line above the eye, and subtle pale streaks on the side of the neck and breast.
It usually forages alone from the middle levels to the subcanopy, probing branches, vines and dry leaf debris. Its food includes arthropods, earthworms and larvae.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
