The Bamboo Foliage-gleaner is associated with bamboo and cane thickets. Its account highlights bamboo stands in southeastern Peru.
It has rufous-brown upperparts, gray cheeks set off from a whitish throat, and grayish-brown underparts. A buff supercilium and broken buff eye-ring mark the face.
In southeastern Peru it forages almost exclusively in bamboo; farther north, the account says it favors mixed cane thickets.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
