The Black-headed Myzomela is a small honeyeater of the central Solomon Islands. Its olive upperparts and black face stand out, and it is found in forest canopies and at forest edges.
It has olive upperparts, a black facial mask and a gently down-curved bill.
It uses forest and forest edges and is sometimes seen in gardens. SPREP's regional guide says it is common in the canopy and sub-canopy and often visits ant-plants.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
