The Oriental Cuckoo is a migratory cuckoo that breeds in forests. Females include both grey and rufous plumage forms.
Its upperparts are grey, and its white underparts have dark bars. A rufous form is also recorded among females.
It spends the breeding season in eastern Eurasia. A female lays her egg in another bird’s nest, leaving the host parents to raise the chick.
An extinction-risk assessment has not been added yet.
